Background Check Authorization
To be a Host Family it is required that anyone over the age of 18 agrees to a background check.

A National Criminal Background Check includes county court and sex offender registries; state Administrative Office of Courts, Department of Correction, Department of Public Safety, federal Office of Foreign Asset Control/Terrorist Database (OFAC), FBI Most Wanted, US Marshals, DEA, ATF, US Secret Service and America’s Most Wanted records revealing felony, misdemeanor, sex offender, inmate, probation, and other state and county criminal offense records nationwide.

Everyone over the age of 18 who reside in your home must click the Background Check Authorization button below and submit their authorization for GBA to conduct a National Background Check in order to be approved as a Global Bridge Associates Host Family.
You will need to contact Global Bridge Associates for the password to access the authorization page.
To be a Host Family it is required that anyone over the age of 18 must become a mandated reporter.

Host Families understand it their duty as “mandated reporters” for the purposes of CA Penal Code Section 11165.7 to report suspected child abuse of any students to Global Bridge Associates LLC., any affiliated school and if necessary, to the California Department of Social Services.
